Dave Travis born July 4, 1964.

An attacking midfielder, Dave was recruited from non-league football with Hatfield Main and made his debut on October 20 1984 in a 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers.

He earned an extended run in the team in March 1985 and played in Rovers’ 3-2 win over Rotherham United at Millmoor, the last away league win Rovers gained over the Millers.

He struggled to gain a place the following season and in February 1986 he joined Scunthorpe United.

Later he played for Gainsborough Trinity and Chesterfield, for whom he scored two goals after coming on as a substitute in a FA Cup tie at Notts County, the Spirites coming from 0-3 down to draw 3-3. For Rovers, he made 14 senior appearances.
