In Rovers Supporters We Trust FAQs

What’s happening with 2020/21 Season Memberships if the season starts behind closed doors?

Following the decision to curtail the 2019/20 season, EFL Clubs have not yet agreed a way forward for the 2020/21 season.  As soon as any decisions have been made we will inform our supporters and work with fans to provide as many options as we can, should any games have to be played behind closed doors.

Is it better to phone or email?

Currently all staff bar one in the Club Doncaster Box Office have been furloughed and therefore we ask all fans (who are able) to email the club at the email addresses provided using the subject headings suggested.  This will enable us to record all enquiries and provide both you and the club a written record of your request.  If you are unable to email then you can phone the Box Office but please be aware that you may experience delays.

When can I expect my refund?

Depending on the method of payment and the volume of refund requests we receive, your refund may take longer than expected and we apologise for any convenience this may cause. We will issue your refund as soon as we are able to and we thank you for your support and your patience.

When will I receive my vouchers?

Vouchers will be emailed and credited onto your account as soon as possible. Bearing in mind the volume of requests we have to administer, this may take longer than expected and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Why do seasonal members receive 50% of a price per game but single match holders get 10% added?

Seasonal members can receive Club Doncaster vouchers at a value of 50% of the price per game they paid.  This figure takes into account the additional benefits seasonal members receive.  The 50% calculation was also used earlier in the season to compensate supporters following the cancelled Bury fixture and was received well by all.

Having reviewed the data of all our purchases, the vast majority of single match ticket holders are also seasonal members as they have purchased tickets for away matches or additional tickets for home matches.

I have a friend/relative who works for the NHS – can I donate the tickets to them?

When we have more information about the 20/21 season and when fans are allowed back into the stadium to watch games we’ll create a system where we ask key workers to register if they are interested in receiving free tickets for upcoming games, if you ask your friend or relative to register on that system then we can make sure they receive tickets.

Can I use the vouchers in the shop/ kiosks?

Both the shop and catering kiosks are operated by third parties, and therefore the club would be liable for the transfer of monies to the third party, which removes the benefit of the voucher system to the club on this occasion.  Therefore the vouchers received as part of In Rovers Supporters We Trust can only be redeemed against products Club Doncaster have full authority for.

This includes tickets for any of our three elite teams, lottery subscriptions, group experiences and birthday parties and magazine subscriptions, and hospitality passes (not including food).

Is there anything else I can do to support the club?

You can sign up to the Club Doncaster Lottery for £2 a week – not only does this make the club money, you also have the chance of winning £500 each week. You can purchase a Belles Season Ticket which costs just £30 and will provide much needed support to Club Doncaster in general and the Belles. You can purchase a DNA Card which will help you make great savings nationally and locally - all the card's offers can be redeemed online so you can start making the card work for you straight away.

Subscribe and start watching Doncaster Rovers videos on YouTube and iFollow Rovers – views on the official YouTube channel helps generate money for Doncaster Rovers so by spending your afternoon re-watching Rovers’ 2-1 win over Rotherham United from earlier in this season or our 1-0 win against Leeds United in the 2008 play-off final can really help.

The club are also looking at multi-year season ticket products and other products that supporters purchase should they wish too.

When do I have to make my decision by?

We ask all supporters to confirm their decision by the July 31 2020, if we have not heard back from you by then we will presume you wish to convert your compensation into a donation.  It would help the club however if this could be put in writing as it will enable us to keep the VAT element of your donation (20%).
