Moore thanks loan players for their contributions

10 June 2020

Following the formal conclusion of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League One season on Tuesday June 9, the club can confirm that loan players Cameron John, Niall Ennis, Ben Sheaf, Seny Dieng, Jacob Ramsey, and Jason Lokilo have now returned to their parent clubs.

Each of the players played a valuable part in the campaign and showed hard-work and dedication throughout their time at Rovers - from excellent performances on the pitch to their community work off it.

Manager Darren Moore said: “I would like to thank our loan players for their contribution to the club both on and off the field throughout their time with us. All six have had a huge impact on the team. They’ve shown great improvement individually and great maturity for such a young set of players. Each one of them has helped the team massively over the past season.

“It was a strange way for the season to end, but I’m sure everyone at Doncaster Rovers will join me in wishing all six players the best of luck with their future careers and I look forward to watching them progress.

“Our attention will now turn to 2020/21 and the task of building a competitive squad. This will bring new challenges as we don’t know when the new season will begin or whether we will be playing in front of fans - which obviously has significant financial consequences - but I am meeting with the chairman and chief executive next week, we are preparing for all variables, our aim is to ensure the club is in a good place on and off the field.”
