Goals from Niall Ennis and Kieran Sadlier, along with a late own-goal from Jason McCarthy secured Rovers all three points at home to Wycombe Wanderers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Former Rovers striker Adebayo Akinfenwa had levelled the scores, before Darren Moore's side finished strongly to stay in touch with the play-off places.
