Rovers manager Darren Moore showed his support for fellow Club Doncaster team Doncaster RLFC by attending the side’s opening league game of the season against Barrow Raiders at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday.
Moore and his assistant Jamie Smith were guests of Dons chief executive Carl Hall, and showed a keen interest both pre-match and during the game.
The pair went into the home dressing room ahead of the game to meet the playing squad, as well as chatting with head coach Richard Horne about how they go about their business in their respective sports.
Carl Hall said: “It was great to have Darren and Jamie with us at the Barrow game and they seemed to really enjoy watching the lads play.
“They were really interested to hear about how we do things at the Dons particularly on a matchday leading up the game kicking off.
“At Club Doncaster we are all pushing in the right direction and to have the support of the Rovers management staff is a good indication of that continuing in the future.”
