Carl Boyeson will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Milton Keynes Dons this Saturday.
The East Riding-based official has overseen one Rovers game (Sunderland at home) and one MK Dons game this season (a 1-1 draw with Coventry City at St Andrew's).
Boyeson is an extremely experienced referee and has been officiating in the football league since 2002. In the current campaign, he has been in charge of 23 games, awarded 65 yellow cards and five reds.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Nicholas Cooper and Paul Hobday. The fourth official will be Ryan Whitaker.
