Club Doncaster chief executive Gavin Baldwin has praised the business support assistance being offered by Doncaster Council.
Gavin said: “The nature of Club Doncaster is quite complex, as the group is made up of several different companies. This has made it more difficult to navigate the support available to businesses during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, however the Corporate Resources team have been exceptional with their advice.
“Alan Stoves in the corporate resources team took time to really understand our business make up and how we could apply for the funding support required. At a time when I’m sure his team are stretched at full capacity, he was able to take the appropriate amount of time to tell us what we were and weren’t eligible for, even identifying solutions we hadn’t considered. I want to go on record to thank Alan and his team for their support.”
