Shane Reddish, May 5 1971.

Bolsover-born Shane began his career at Mansfield Town but was released without making an appearance.

He joined Rovers in February 1990 and made his debut as a substitute in the final game of the 1989-90 season. His versatility, which saw him appear as a full back or midfielder, made him a useful squad player, although in four seasons at Belle Vue he struggled to command a regular place.

His best season was his final one, 1992-93, where he made 35 senior appearances. In 1993 he joined Carlisle United and later played for Hartlepool United as well as playing and managing in Northern Ireland. His overall record for Rovers was 65 appearances and three goals.
