Tony Wales born May 12, 1943.
Born in Dunscroft, Tony signed professionally for Rovers in May 1960 and made his first-team debut in the final match of the 1960-61 season.
This proved a good match to start in, as Rovers hammered Crewe Alexandra 6-0. The following season it took him until March to earn a regular place in the side, but he went on to play 15 games, all at right-back. Tony left Rovers in 1963 and joined Gravesend & Northfleet. His record for Rovers was 26 appearances during which he failed to find the net. He died in 2015.
