Club statement: Darren Moore required to self-isolate

6 November 2020

Doncaster Rovers can confirm that manager Darren Moore and his coaching staff are required to self-isolate following news received at 7pm on Thursday that they have been in contact with a positive COVID-19 case.

Neither Darren nor any of his staff have shown any symptoms but are self-isolating in line with official COVID-19 guidance.

The Rovers players were not in direct contact with the positive case and are therefore not required to self-isolate.

Andy Butler has been put in temporary charge of the team during this period and will oversee Friday’s training ahead of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup match against FC United of Manchester. The club will support Andy with everything he needs in the coming days.

The FA and EFL have been consulted on the protocols and we are in communication with FC United of Manchester.
