Darren Moore is looking forward to a tough game against Blackpool at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Seasiders arrive in South Yorkshire as one of the form sides in Sky Bet League One, and Moore says his side will have to be on top of their game to get a result.
He said: “The next game is always the most important one for us, it will be a difficult one given their recent form in the league.
“Neil Critchley has done a great job there in a short space of time, he’s managed to put his stamp on the team and they’re playing some good football.
“He worked very well at Liverpool and has taken that into the role at Blackpool, they have some good players who compliment the way he wants to play.”
After Rovers scored late goals in their past two league outings, Moore says he’s been impressed with the character on display.
He added: “I remember last season we scored a few late goals and we’ve managed to do that again recently which shows our character.
“They have shown that appetite and endeavour, we kept ourselves in the game and got a point at the end.”
