Ross Joyce will be the man in charge when Rovers welcome Blackpool to the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday evening.
He last took charge of Rovers in February (a forgettable trip to Fleetwood Town) and also oversaw a memorable home win over Peterborough United in 2019.
The Cleveland-based official had an excellent 2018/19 campaign and was rewarded by being given the Sky Bet League Two play-off final.
So far this season he has overseen 11 matches handing out 37 yellows and one red. That red card came in a mad final twenty minutes of football played between Accrington Stanley and Oxford United in September which, as well as the red card, also included a penalty, an own goal and a brace.
On Tuesday, Joyce will be assisted by Graeme Fyvie and Daniel Woodward. Thomas Bramall will be the fourth official.
