Thomas Bramall will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Broadhurst Park on Saturday for the Emirates FA Cup first round tie against FC United of Manchester.
The Sheffield-based official is relatively new to the English Football League having been appointed to the National List of Referees ahead of the 2018/19 season. He had a good first campaign but picked up an ACL injury in the summer of 2019 which kept him out until February 2020. Bramall had refereed just six matches when the season was postponed due to COVID-19.
Saturday’s match will be Bramall’s eighth match in the current campaign. He has so far handed out 17 yellow cards and one red.
He will be assisted by Robert Atkin and Darren Wilding. The fourth official will be Michael Salisbury.
