John Busby will be the man in charge when Rovers welcome Sunderland to the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday.
The Oxfordshire-born official has already officiated a Rovers match this season. He was in charge of a memorable trip to The Valley where goals from Madger Gomes, Tyreece John-Jules and an own goal meant Darren Moore’s men beat Chartlon Athletic 3-1.
Busby handed out two yellow cards on that occasion with Ben Whiteman and Reece James both going in the book. In total this season, he has overseen 11 games and given out 31 yellow cards and three reds.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Andrew Dallison and Mark Cunliffe. David Rock will be the fourth official.
