James Oldham will be the man in charge as Rovers host Wolverhampton Wanderers U21s in the Papa John’s Trophy on Tuesday evening.
This is the Derbyshire-based official’s second season in the EFL after he was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer of 2019.
Tuesday’s match will be his ninth match this campaign and his second in this competition having already overseen a 1-1 draw between Lincoln City and Scunthorpe United. Oldham has given out 19 yellow cards a one red. The dismissal coming in Peterborough United’s 5-1 win over Shrewsbury Town.
Oldham will be assisted by Hristo Karaivanov and Lisa Rashid. Warne Grunnill will be the fourth official.
