Rovers’ U18 team are back on the road this weekend as they head to neighbours Rotherham United.
Paul Stancliffe’s side come into the game on the back of a sensational 3-2 win against category two Academy side Hull City in the second round of the FA Youth Cup.
Forwards Owan Derrett and Luca Nelson (two) were on target against the Tigers, continuing their excellent form in front of goal this season. Ben Bottomley also did his part in Rovers’ goal, denying Hull from the penalty spot.
Both Rovers and Rotherham have picked up six points this season in the league with both sides winning two games and losing the rest.
The game will take place behind closed doors on November Saturday 21 at 11am.
