Darren Moore expects a good match when Rovers host Ipswich Town at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Paul Lambert’s side have won five of their opening six league matches and Moore believes the tractor boys’ confidence will be sky high.
“They’re a strong team at this level and they’ve started the season very, very well. I imagine confidence is very high in the camp,” said Moore.
“I’m sure they’ll be looking to have another good season this year. It’s two good teams that lock horns and it’s going to be a good game because both teams are in good form.
“They’re got talented, intelligent players and whatever shape or system the manager asks of them, they can perform it and they’ve shown that because they’ve registered good results. Whatever team Paul puts out on Tuesday, we know we’re going to have to be on the top of our game.”
Moore has a lot of options for the match against the league-leaders with two deadline day signings which rounded off a successful transfer window for his side.
“We’ve been really pleased with how we’ve acted in the transfer window and the players that we’ve brought in, players we’ve resigned, and the loan players we’ve got with us,” Moore added.
“We’ve had to work hard in identifying the right ones and getting them in. They're all in now, the windows closed and we’re focusing fully on the games.”
