Darren Moore feels Rovers will be going up against a good footballing team in Crewe Alexandra this weekend.
Moore’s side head into the game looking for their third straight win, and he says it will be a tough test for the team to overcome.
He said: “Crewe are a good footballing team and have always been a club who look to do things in the right way.
“Dave has got them playing a certain way and we know they will provide us with a tough test after winning promotion last season.
“We know every game we have to be at our best, because they’re coming thick and fast - momentum is a big part of it.”
Saturday’s game will be Rovers third of six in an 18-day period, and Moore says his team have to have their mindset ready to deal with that challenge.
He added: “I’ve alluded to it already that it’s been a solid start for us but we feel we can still improve in all areas.
“We’re all going into a block of games and it will test each squad’s resolve and the depth of them as the weeks go by.
“Every team is dealing with the same challenges, we are working hard to be ready for every hurdle that comes our way.”
