Alan Young will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Plymouth on Tuesday evening.
He is relatively new to the EFL having been added to the list in the summer of 2018 but has already taken charge of three Rovers matches.
Young oversaw two draws in Sky Bet League One against Oxford in 2018 and Portsmouth in 2019 and was also the man in charge when Rovers lost to Manchester United U21s in the EFL Trophy.
He has refereed six matches so far in the current campaign handing out 23 yellow cards but no reds.
On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Simon Shaw and Ravel Cheosiaua. The fourth official is Matthew Russell.
