Brett Huxtable will be the man in the middle when Rovers travel to take on Portsmouth in Sky Bet League One this weekend.
The first game the Devon-based official refereed in the EFL was a 1-1 draw between Rovers and Crawley Town back in August 2016.
The last time he officiated a Rovers match was the 2-0 win at Bristol Rovers last season. Overall in the 2019/20 campaign, Huxtable was in charge of 27 games, handing out 97 yellow cards and four reds.
He will be assisted by Stephen Brown and Paul Yates, the fourth official is Simon Shaw.
