Josh Sims says Rovers will dust themselves down and go again after being beaten 2-1 by Crewe Alexandra in Sky Bet League One.
The defeat at the Keepmoat Stadium was Rovers’ first on home soil this season, and Sims says they have to get it out of their system quickly.
He said: “It was a disappointing one for us, we had good chances at 1-1 to go on and win it and we have to learn from that.
“We have another game coming up quickly so that will be good for us, we will look at the areas we’ve conceded from and put that right.
“It’s tough to take after being on such a high from Tuesday, but we have to make sure we’re not too down about it.”
Sims brought Rovers back level in the first-half with his first goal in English football, and he says it was a nice moment for him personally.
He added: “To get my first goal in England is something I’m proud of, I managed to square up the defender and finish it in the far corner.
“It’s a shame there were no fans in the stadium to see it but we’re getting used to that being the case now.
“We have to take positives from it and responding immediately after the first goal was good from us and we didn’t let our heads go down.”
