Rovers have bolstered their squad on deadline day with the signing of winger Josh Sims on a three-month loan.
Sims arrives from Premier League side Southampton, where he has made 20 top-flight appearances since making his debut in 2016.
The 23-year-old has spent time on loan with Sky Bet Championship side Reading, and more recently in the MLS with New York Red Bulls.
He said: “I’m delighted now it’s all gone through, it’s something that I’ve been looking forward to and the way Doncaster play is ideal for me.
“I spoke with the manager and he explained to me what he wants, I’ve heard good things about the club so I’m happy that it’s fallen into place quite quickly.
“I’ve had a look at the squad and the other players they’ve brought in are impressive, I’m looking to play regular football now and take advantage of the opportunity.”
Sims will wear the No.20 shirt during his time with Rovers.
