Rovers’ U18s are aiming for back-to-back wins as they take on Mansfield Town U18s next in the EFL Youth Alliance League.
Last time out Paul Stancliffe’s side beat Huddersfield Town after goals from Owan Derrett and Josh Clemitson fired the youth team into a two-goal lead. The deficit was later cut as the Terriers clawed a goal back through a well-worked corner routine.
Mansfield are third in the division having won two and lost one so far this term while Rovers are eighth.
The game will take place behind closed doors at Cantley Park. Kick-off is 11am on October Saturday 10.
