Rovers U18s head to Scunthorpe United as they begin the defence of their Youth Alliance title.
The game (like all games across the EFL) will be played behind closed doors. It kicks off at 11am.
The Iron were one of the teams challenging Rovers for the top spot in 2019/20 and around Christmas it had looked like the odds were in the favour of young Scunthorpe side – but 6 successive wins for Rovers (including victories over Scunthorpe) put an end to their title charge.
Rovers have had a successful pre-season campaign coming into this match with victories over Chesterfield (1-0) and Nottingham Forest (4-1) and a draw with Premier League outfit Sheffield United (1-1).
