Tom Anderson was voted the supporters club 2019/20 player of the season following the campaign’s curtailment.
Dependable and reliable, Anderson ensured he was one of the first names on the team sheet last season in what was a standout campaign for the centre-back.
He has grown into one of the league’s top defenders and is a firm fan-favourite and it is no surprise that his performances earned him the coveted player of the season award.
“It’s an honour to be voted supporters club player of the season,” said Anderson.
“I thought quite a few of the lads had really good season’s last year so it means a lot that the supporters have voted for me. Their support means a lot, not just to me but to all the players and staff.
“I know the supporters club have been fundraising and donating money to the club to help us through what has been a difficult time as well so, on behalf of the club, I’d like to thank everyone who’s donated money to help Doncaster Rovers during the pandemic.”
