Rovers have re-signed experienced defender Andy Butler on a deal until January 2021.
The former club captain joins after impressing while on trial with Darren Moore’s side throughout the summer.
He returns to the Keepmoat Stadium after a year in Sky Bet League Two with Scunthorpe United, during which time he took over as manager of Doncaster Rovers Belles.
Butler has signed in time to be involved in this weekend’s Sky Bet League One opener against MK Dons at the Keepmoat Stadium.
