Darren Moore wants his side to start the game well when they come up against Bristol Rovers this weekend.

After an unbeaten start to the league campaign, the manager feels that is one area where Rovers can improve.

He said: “We’d like to be consistent from the first minute to the last but those are things that we have to work on every day.

“For a relatively young group to get that winning feeling last weekend was good, we managed the game well and saw it out.

“We’ve got different dynamics within the team to enable us to play different ways should we need to.”

Saturday’s opponents have taken one point from their opening two league games, but Moore is expecting a difficult game from Ben Garner’s side.

He added: “They’re a well drilled outfit and work hard for each other, they will be difficult opponents as they showed on the opening day at Sunderland.

“We know in this division you can’t take anybody lightly, last week is gone now and we have to raise our standards again this weekend.”
