Lifelong Rovers fan and season member, John Kirsopp has urged his fellow supporters to sign up to the Club Doncaster Lottery to help support the club through a difficult time.
As well as supporting the club and Academy, fans who sign up to the lottery are in with a chance of winning up to £500 each week.
John said: “A few years back I decided to become an alliance member because I thought it was a good thing to raise some money for the club and put it into the development of the youngsters.
“The lottery is a brilliant thing and I know it brings lots of money into the club and I think all of us Rovers fans need to do something to support the club through this very difficult time.
“I’ve won a few prizes over the few years, a few £50’s and a few free draws as well but in August I actually won the top prize of £500, which was absolutely brilliant.”
John recently invested in some extra numbers in memory of his late mother Maureen. It was one of these extra numbers that resulted in John winning the top weekly cash prize and he’s decided to use the money to help celebrate Maureen's life.
“I’ve decided I’m going to take some of the family the next time we can go to the Keepmoat Stadium,” he added.
“I’ll pay for us all to go to the Legends Club and have a good day, hopefully see Rovers win and celebrate my mum’s life.”
