Rayhaan Tulloch says the opportunity to work with Darren Moore again was the main factor in his decision to join Rovers.
The 19-year-old signed on a season-long loan from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion on Friday, and says his relationship with the manager is a strong one.
He said: “The coaching staff here have seen me grow up and now I’m on this chapter of my journey so hopefully I can do well.
“Darren and Jamie Smith are good people to be around and I get along with them so I will settle in quickly.
“The manager cares about how you are not just on the pitch but off it as well, and it makes you feel like you’ve got someone who you want to work hard for.”
Tulloch can play in a number of attacking positions, and says he can’t wait to bring excitement to fans when he’s on the pitch.
He added: “I hope to create some excitement when I’m on the pitch and keep the fans on the edge of their seat during a game.
“I’m comfortable playing anywhere across the front three so wherever the manager decides to play me I’ll put my all in.
“It will be my first time playing in the EFL so it will help me to develop and show what I can do on a bigger stage.”
