Club Doncaster’s new community gym – Foundation Fitness – opens its doors for inductions
Foundation Fitness, the new community gym based at the Keepmoat Stadium, has opened its doors for inductions and sign ups.
The gym, which will be run by Club Doncaster Foundation as a non-profit organisation, will serve the community and help continue improving lives across Doncaster.
Members who join Foundation Fitness during April will pay no joining fee, with memberships costing just £17.99 per month with no contract. The gym is also offering a free month as part of the 12-month upfront payment packages.
“We’re really excited to welcome the first set of members through the door into our brand-new facility”, explained health and wellbeing coordinator Lewis O’Connor.
“We’re not just any gym. 100 percent of our profits will go back into the community through Club Doncaster Foundation. You’ll be supporting some fantastic projects as well as helping achieve a fitter and healthier you.
“As lockdown restrictions ease and the summer months approach it’s the perfect time for people to start getting active and challenge themselves, and we can’t wait to meet our first set of members.
“Again, we’re showing that Club Doncaster Foundation is at the heart of the community.”
The gym is open now for inductions and sign ups, with an official opening date of Monday, April 26. All sessions will be in-line with COVID-19 restrictions and will be socially distanced.
Foundation Fitness opening hours:
7am-9pm Monday to Thursday
7am-8pm on Friday
8am-1pm on Saturday
