Rovers suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Burton Albion on Tuesday evening.
It was an improved performance from Andy Butler's men who started the game with more energy and desire with both Josh Sims and Tom Anderson forcing impressive from the Brewers' keeper but once Lucas Akins goal went in just after the hour mark, the momentum of the match swung fully in Burton Albion's favour. The visitors were able to double their lead through Tom Hamer just over 10 minutes later and Hayden Carter's goal ten minutes from time ensured defeat for Rovers.
