Midfielder AJ Greaves has signed a new one-year deal with Rovers, with the option of a further year.
The 20-year-old progressed through the ranks with the Rovers Academy, and signed his first professional contract at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
He made his first-team debut in an EFL Trophy tie at Rotherham United last season, before making his maiden league appearance against Swindon Town earlier on in this campaign.
Greaves backed that up with a man of the match performance at home to Rochdale, with a further five appearances following since then.
He said: “I’m buzzing, it was a big relief to be offered a new deal. I’m glad to get it done and have my future sorted.
“I’ve managed to play a few games and that is all about me having the confidence in myself to play at that level.
“A few of the other young lads have had a few games as well which has helped me to feel more comfortable.”
