Tyreece John-Jules says it feels good to be back playing again after making his return from a hamstring injury.
The Arsenal loanee made his return for Rovers in the 2-0 win at Shrewsbury last time out, after three months on the sidelines.
He said: “It felt amazing to be back on the pitch after three months out, I’d missed being out there with the lads.
“I spoke to the medical team here every couple of weeks so they had a good idea of my progress along the way.
“It’s all about managing yourself and letting the injury heal, then knowing when to push yourself to take the next step.”
John-Jules' return to action coincided with Rovers getting back to winning ways, and he is hoping they can continue that form for the rest of the season.
He added: “I came back and everyone was still in good spirits, so hopefully the win at the weekend can push us on for the rest of the season.
“We go to Accrington now and they are a side that will make it a battle so we know it will be tough, but we have to go there and match them.”
