Sebastian Stockbridge will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Rochdale this Saturday.
It’s been more than 18 months since Stockbridge took charge of a Rovers match, but he oversaw both matches against Oxford United in the 2019/20 season.
The official from the North East is very experienced and took charge of his first EFL match in April 2013. He first oversaw a Rovers match in October 2014, a game which saw Rovers beat local rivals Scunthorpe United 2-1 at Glanford Park.
He has taken charge of 29 games handing out 96 yellow cards and four reds.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Anthony Moore and Bradley Hall. Richard Bartlett will be fourth official.
