Rovers have started the process of recruiting a first-team manager, and are inviting applications for the role.
The club will accept applications until 5pm on April 19 2021, with a view to an appointment being confirmed and in place by the end of the season.
The Rovers board will follow a similar process which led to the successful appointment of both Grant McCann and Darren Moore.
Andy Butler will continue to lead the team until the end of the season and the Board will welcome his application.
The Board would like to thank Andy for his efforts this season and stepping in to manage the team at short notice. As was expressed at the time of his appointment, it has always been the case that Andy will be in charge until the end of the season and this remains the case. However, the Board are keen to progress with planning for next season as soon as possible.
