Andy Butler is hoping to welcome back a trio of players for the game against Wigan Athletic in Sky Bet League One this weekend.
Joe Wright and Brad Halliday are both back in contention after missing the game at Bristol Rovers on Monday with neck and back injuries respectively.
Josh Sims has also returned to training with Rovers after the leg injury which saw him return to parent club Southampton for treatment.
Butler said: “Joe has responded well to treatment and so has Brad, he went to see a chiropractor during the week and they should both be ready for the weekend.
“Josh is back with us and looks bright in training, I had a quick chat with him and you can see in his own mind now that he feels a lot better.”
Tyreece John-Jules continues to work his way back to full fitness, with Jon Taylor the only long-term absentee.
