Joe Wright says he and the Rovers squad need to do themselves justice with a good performance against Burton Albion on Tuesday night.
Rovers go into the game on the back of a poor recent run, and the central defender says now is the time to put all that behind them.
He said: “I watch every game back and analyse what I’ve done well and what I can work on, the performance at the weekend was tough to stomach and not like us as a team.
“You always question yourself first and it’s up to us as players to get things right and give everything for the cause.
“It is hurting us, it’s not something that’s happened while I’ve been here but I’ve got faith in the lads to turn it around.”
The Brewers themselves have turned their season around under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with safety all but secured, and Wright has been impressed with their upturn in form.
He added: “The way Burton have got themselves back in a good position shows that anything can happen once you pick up one or two wins.
“We have to take encouragement from that and believe that a positive result for ourselves can help us turn a corner.”
