Midfielder Lirak Hasani joined Matlock Town who compete in the Northern Premier Division, the seventh tier of the English football pyramid.
Hasani was given the nod in the club’s first game of the season but a formation-change at the break saw the 19-year-old sacrificed in a game the side went onto lose 2-0.
The side fared better in their second game of the season registering a win at home to Basford United on Tuesday night.
Ben Bottomley has yet to appear for Frickley Athletic after joining earlier in the week.
The side who are also known as The Azzurri won 1-0 away to league rivals Hebburn Town and carried on their fine start into Tuesday night winning 2-1 at home to Brighouse. Bottomley was on the bench for both.
Both players will be looking for minutes in the next outings on Saturday. Matlock Town are at home to Hyde United while the Azzurri will host Sunderland RCA.
