Following feedback from supporters and as part of our continued efforts to ensure the return to the Keepmoat stadium is a safe, positive and welcoming experience for supporters, Rovers can confirm that parts of the stadium are being allocated to allow socially distanced seating to take place.
Available in blocks W23, W24, W31, F12 and F13, the socially distanced seats are available to book in advance by calling the Box Office on 01302 762576.
Supporters will note these areas have been blocked off for online bookings to allow the Box Office to manage these areas carefully and support specific enquiries from fans as they book the seats.
Season ticket members who wish to relocate their seat – either temporarily or permanently - to a less populated area of the ground, can also phone the Box Office to discuss their options.
On matchdays supporters will be able to ask a steward to relocate their seats should they wish to move to a less populated area of the stadium.
We ask where possible that supporters consider in advance if they think they may wish to move seats and organise relocations directly through the Box Office, rather than leaving it until matchday. This is to preserve the comfort and safety for all and minimise any disruption to fellow supporters once the game has kicked off.
The club will regularly review the need for socially distanced seating at the stadium based on feedback and usage and will communicate in advance of any changes.
Supporters are reminded that for the time being cash gates will not be in operation for any home matchday. A combination of a shortage of staff due to COVID-19 and self-isolation and the need to ensure we have provided the opportunity to collect supporters’ details which is required as part of COVID-19 guidance are amongst contributing factors. We hope to be able to bring back cash gates as soon as we are able to do so.
