The EFL have confirmed Rovers’ U18s fixtures and cup fate for the 2021/22 campaign.
Gary McSheffrey’s side will start their season with a trip to Lincoln City on August 7, 2021 before hosting Grimsby Town at Cantley Park on August 14, 2021.
The season will conclude on March 12, 2022 with a visit to Burton at St George’s Park.
This season the Youth Alliance League will welcome Harrogate Town to the competition.
In the EFL Youth Alliance Cup (Northern Section) Rovers have been drawn in group six alongside Mansfield Town, Oldham Athletic and Bolton Wanderers. Dates for those games:
- Rovers v Bolton (H) – 21/08/2021
- Rovers v Mansfield (A) – 25/09/2021
- Rovers v Oldham (H) – 9/10/2021
Games in all competitions will start at 11am but are subject to change.
