Up-and-coming Doncaster musician Charlotte Hannah joined Rovers CALM third kit launch to raise awareness of mental health.
Charlotte’s writes music about mental health and was keen to support the project’s message that mental health struggles aren’t always visible.
“Mental health impacts everyone,” she said.
“If it’s not you, it’s a friend or sister so it’s really important that we show up and raise awareness.
“Song writing helps me because it allows me to process and get my thoughts out there. It helps me put things in perspective.”
Charlotte was also keen to use her platform to help remind people that talking is key to managing mental health struggles.
“Other things can help such as exercise but most importantly, it’s about talking to someone,” she added.
“We want to normalise talking about mental health so that people can feel comfortable sharing and seeking help.
“If someone is struggling, I would say talk to someone – it can be a friend or picking up the phone to a mental health charity like CALM.”
