Eco-Power become stadium naming partner

13 December 2021

Doncaster Rovers are delighted to announce that from December 27, 2021 our home ground will be known as the Eco-Power Stadium.

A new four-year agreement sees Eco-Power take over the stadium naming rights from Keepmoat Homes, who will continue with their partnership and support of Club Doncaster in other ways. Eco-Power Group are a Doncaster based company which has two primary divisions Eco-Power Environmental and Eco-Power Construction.

Eco-Power Environmental and its sister company, Eco-Power Skips, offer a wide range of waste and recycling services which enable customers to divert 100% of the waste they produce from landfill. In doing so, they recover valuable resources such as plastic, metal, wood, paper and cardboard which are then recycled into new products. Any waste that cannot be recycled is used in the production of sustainable fuels which offset the use of fossil fuels.

Eco-Power Construction has one of the region’s largest plant hire fleets capable of supporting customers with projects of all sizes while its civil engineering division has gained a well-earned reputation for quality workmanship and always completing work on time and within budget. Eco-Power Construction recently added to its portfolio with what is rapidly becoming one of South Yorkshire’s most highly regarded surfacing companies.

Jon Warburton, chief commercial officer at Club Doncaster said: “This is a major new partnership that represents the growth in usage of the stadium since the birth of Club Doncaster.

“With UEFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, Rugby League World Cup matches and concerts such as The Killers and Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Doncaster is becoming a venue for international sporting and music events.

“Eco-Power will not only become the title partner of the stadium but will also be working closely with Club Doncaster on our sustainability strategy, as we aim to make some significant strides forward to becoming a carbon neutral venue over the next four years.”

Louis Calders, group commercial director of the Eco-Power group added: “As a local business Eco-Power Group are delighted to be partnering with Doncaster Rovers and Club Doncaster. In addition to the stadium naming rights we will also be working closely with the club to develop their sustainability strategy and support them on their journey to net-zero.”

Eco-Power’s associated charity, The Eco-Power Foundation, will also work closely with Club Doncaster and Club Doncaster Foundation to align objectives around supporting the wider Doncaster community.
