Lirak Hasani spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s game against Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League One.
The 19-year-old has featured in each of Rovers’ past four matches, including in a more unfamiliar right wing-back role.
On his recent run in the team:
“It’s all good experience for me, I was delighted to get my opportunity and I knew I had to take it.
“It’s the first time I’ve played 90 minutes twice in a few days, but I’ve recovered well and I’m ready to go on Saturday.
“You have to be a lot more mature in your decision making at this level, you’re playing for three points and everything you do is gearing towards that.”
On preparing for Shrewsbury:
“We can’t focus on our league position and simply need to take each game as it comes at the moment.
“We know that looking too far ahead can catch you out, but at the same time we want to get as many points as we can before the end of the year.
“Over the last few games we’ve had good spells, now we need to put that together and put in a more consistent performance.”
