Supporters on Twitter have voted Louis Jones as their man in the match for his excellent performance against Shrewsbury Town.
After a quiet first period, the 23-year-old made a string of important saves in the second half with stops to deny Matthew Pennington’s header at the back post and Daniel Udoh in a one-v-one the standout moments.
Goal scorer Joseph Olowu came second in the fans' vote, while Branden Horton – who followed up two goals in two games with the all-important assist – came third. Captain Tom Anderson was fourth and there were also votes for Tommy Rowe who had another excellent afternoon in the middle of the park.
