Gary McSheffrey spoke to the media ahead of this weekend’s game against Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League One.
A win for Rovers would move them to within three points of their opponents.
On the players trusting each other:
“There are three points on the line whether you judge it as a huge game or not, each win is valuable.
“We want the players to believe in themselves again and trust the lads they are alongside.
“We saw a bit of that on Tuesday and the important thing now is to build on that going into the weekend.”
On Shrewsbury:
“They are quite a rigid team and they have some threats that can mix up their play at certain times.
“It’s a very hard working midfield and they’ve got pace in the wide areas so we need to be wary of that.
“I’m expecting a good game and it’s one that we’re confident of being successful in.”
