James Oldham will be the man in charge when Rovers host Oxford United in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday evening.
It’s been just shy of a year since the Derbyshire-based official took charge of a Rovers match. He was blowing the whistle when Rovers exceptional winning run at the end of 2020 was ended with a home defeat to Shrewsbury Town.
Oldham is in just his third EFL season and has taken charge of 17 matches handing out 67 yellow cards and two reds. Ten of those yellow cards came on the opening day of the season when he booked six Barrow players and four Stevenage players as the latter claimed a 1-0 home win.
On Tuesday he will be assisted by Mark Jones and Bradley Hall. Oliver Bickle will be the fourth official.
