Christopher Pollard will be the man in charge when Rovers host Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
After more than a decade in the game, Pollard was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer of 2019 after impressing in both the National League and Premier League 2 matches.
This will be the second time he has overseen a Rovers match. He was the referee when Rovers travelled to the KCOM Stadium just over a year ago.
So far this season, he has taken charge of 13 matches, handing out 42 yellow cards and one red.
On Saturday, Pollard will be assisted by Declan Ford and Steven Rushton. Marc Edwards will be the fourth official.
