James Coppinger scored a 102nd minute equaliser in the gold kit which he'd designed to mark another superb Rovers moment.

On a day that was all about James Coppinger - he comes off the bench to score a sublime equaliser which saw Rovers pick up a deserved point against title-hopefuls Hull City.

A Mallik Wilks brace put the visitors in the ascendency after 24 minutes and while Reece James got one back, Jacob Greaves extended the visitors lead just before half time.

The second half, however, belonged to Rovers who were much brighter and had two early chances to get back into it. After two penalty claims for handball were dismissed, a foul on Josh Sims inside the box was given just after the hour-mark and was coolly dispatched by Omar Bogle from the spot.

In the 85th minute, Coppinger came onto the field and, when a free-kick was awarded deep in stoppage time at the edge of the box, there was only one man to take it. On his first appearance since turning 40, Coppinger sent the ball into the top corner in sublime fashion to earn a point for Rovers.
