John: one game at a time

Cameron John say Rovers will continue to take one game at a time as they look to extend their good form in Sky Bet League One.

Rovers have won five games on the bounce since the turn of the year, and John says that is a result of staying level-headed and focusing on each opponent one-by-one

He said: “I think it’s hard to deny that we’re on a good run in the league and the whole club is a really happy place at the minute.

“Like the gaffer says though you can never get too high or too low and we keep on focusing on the next challenge.

“The last couple of games we’ve had a fair bit of defending to do but it was clear to see the character within the group to make sure we get results.”

Fleetwood Town represent the next challenge for Rovers on Tuesday night, and John is expecting a tough test at Highbury.

He added: “It’s going to be a different challenge to the last one and we are only thinking about how we can get three points at Fleetwood.

“We’re prepared for it, we take every opposition at face value and know it will be a really tough game.”
