Darren Moore is looking forward to two strong sides going head-to-head when Rovers take on Hull City this weekend.
Just four points separate the two teams in the Sky Bet League One table, and the manager is expecting a closely fought battle.
He said: “It’s another exciting game for both clubs to look forward to, we’re competing at the right end of the table which is where we want to be.
“It’s so tight at the top and the way the season has gone so far there will be plenty more twists and turns along the way.
“There is such a close proximity between games and everyone still has to play each other so it is really tough to predict.”
After rotating his squad in recent weeks, Moore explained that circumstances are dictating things for every manager in the division.
He added: “Every manager will have in his head what his strongest 11 is, but being able to name them with the current schedule is another matter.
“We’re managing things as well as we possibly can, because the main thing for us is the wellbeing of the players.”
